Some fifth grade students learned a lot about harnessing the power of the wind to propel their homemade car. Student had to create a car that was powered by the wind. Students studied the effects of wind on sailing vessels and incorporated that learning into their cars. The goal was to travel fifteen feet on the controlled environment course, many even surpassed twenty feet!
